Chitika

Have you tried this one? My friend told me that it is the same as Google Adsense?

Yes, I am using Chitika from last 2 years. I got one payout in paypal.
Now they have stop payment in paypal, But you can get cheque of your name.
This is good, but not as good as adsense. If you dont have adsense account, you can use this to earn from traffic. If your blog or site has search traffic from USA then you can get good earning.

NO.
Any one from any where can sign up, but If we have good search traffic from USA, we can earn higher, as there will be more advertisers ads for search traffic from USA.

They pay for clicks that originate from traffic from USA and Canada. I tried them before but never did much with them Too limited. There are better options around I feel. But if most of your traffic is from search engines via the United States you may want to give them a try.

Also I think the rate per ad is too low.I would prefer linkworth more than the chitika after Google Adsense. In fact linkworth is giving you a wide variety of options to make money from a single site.

I put Chitika on one site before. It's far lower than adsense, because it prefer USA traffic. It's best to focus on adsense if your site is not against adsense policy.

It is not the same as Adsense. Adsense has better ads and also better ad formats. Its been few months since I stopped using Chitika. At that time it did not have image or flash ads, only text and catalog ads.

I like Chitika as an alternative to Adsense, but would much rather just use Adsense or private advertising instead. It can be a good way to make some extra money though.

I agree with you.

I was using Chitika for a few months and the income was not that good compared to adsense and other earnings from affiliate programs/private advertisers.

Sites like ezinearticles prolly converts good. They are using both adsense and chitika but there traffic is in the millions each month or little less when got hit with panda update long time ago.

Combining adsense and Chitika is still good but you will earn more with adsense. Placement is key and perhaps i had the placement of the chitika ads wrong.

Can I use both chitika and google adsense on my blog? I've stopped using chitika since my adsense was approved. I'm afraid that adsense might ban me if I use both.

Does it have any restriction such as traffic minimum or open to any size of site?

I've been using Chitika for several months. Though the earnings are not as good as Adsense I still put them lower on the page and catch the odd click.

The one thing I really enjoy about Chitika is their support. I had 2 separate issues issues and each time I contacted them they resolved them within minutes. Try getting that service with Adsense.
