By experimenting, what exactly are you doing?

Are you testing out new locations?

When you test out a new location for an adsense banner, test the location out for like 2 months or so. Make sure you have a channel setup on that one ad block and have it targeted. What the video on this page. http://support.google.com/adsense/bi...n&answer=32856

Do you have a wordpres blog by any chance? If not, what software is your site running on?

Is all your content orginal? Is your traffic going down?

I'm asking a lot of questions because you didn't give us any details to what you have done already..etc

thanks for the reply friend. previously i was using only text ads but now I am using text + image ads. I also added ad links to ads before post on single post page.

I am using wordpress and my blog about which I am talking is windows8mods.com I write my own content and from last 4-5 days the traffic is increasing. Please check my blog and tell me which adsense settings will be best for me.

I know that Google press us to use image ads as well as (or instead of) text ads, but in my particular case it's clear my sites make more money when I only have text ads displayed. As far as I can tell there seems to be two main reasons for this.

1. Text adds look like links, and are far more likely to be clicked.
2. Picture ads (in my experience) have sometimes been completely unconnected with the site content, whereas text ads have usually been very closely connected to the content.

Take a look at your Performance Reports in AdSense for the last 30 days. If you click Add Dimension and include Ad Format you'll be able to see whether text or image ads work better for you.

Sorry, I just checked: It's Ad Type, not Format

Try to make the ads to match the whole web site pattern. Note that most of the visitors are educated and know what is google adsense and if they are not really interested in this what the ad is showing they are not going to click by mistake.

nothing depends on adsense earnings
it all that your traffic makes
if traffic drop than ctr will also drop

Try out different networks to see which perform the best for you, never rely just on one network.
