How to make money from mobile sites

Hi

I have been thinking about this for a while and would appreciate your input. What do you think are the best ways to generate money from websites used through mobile phones?

It seems difficult to me to get adverts on a small screen, and I dont think contextual advertising will work well either.

Subscription is obvious as is pay per download, as in video clips, music etc.

I dont think banners would work on a small screen.

I am really talking about sites that will be primarily focussed on mobiles phones and wont be used much through PCs or laptops.

Do you think new advertising methods will be needed for this?
