Question How do you prequalify traffic and convert them into paying clients?

To my way of thinking this is the #1 question I ask myself before starting any online business:

"HOW DO I CREATE A METHOD TO DIRECT ON-GOING PRE-QUALIFIED TRAFFIC TO MY SITE(S) AND HOW DO I CONVERT THEM INTO PAYING CUSTOMERS/MEMBERS?"

What do you do to try and accomplish this? Any marketing ideas you care to share??

Prequalified traffic

Articles are good. I know that is beating a dead horse, but if someone reads about the topic of your article, then they are probably pre qualified to want to at least visit your site.

Articles are also free and stay around for a long time.

Obviously it helps alot if your product is kind of keyword sensative. This way your sales page will get some organic traffic too. Its hard to seo a sales page without ruining the copy but you can do your best.

Converting them once you are there is a matter of having a good product and GREAT copywriting. More so if the area of sale is competitive.

I had a great service and a lot of traffic for a long time before it made me any money. What I changed was my sales page, I ran glyphius over it. Now things are paying. I am converting at in the 2%. My traffic is through clickbank affiliates and search engines so the traffic costs me nothing.

Through my tracking I realize that people dont like being sold AT ALL. Organic traffic is more likely to buy from my stats.

If you use a PPC campaign, make sure you cover the cost within the ad so you don't have to pay for uninterested visitors.

Use the beaten dead horse of writing articles and submitting them to article submit sites. Then make sure you have a newsletter list for people to double opt into. Send out a newsletter with news about your site once a week or biweekly. With the articles you bring them in and with the newsletter list you keep them. Plus list members are good word of mouth/email.

A quality product people need helps too.
