Monetizing a high traffic site

I've been running a Pastebin-type site that rewards paste creators with bitcoins based on how many hits their pastes get.

Over the past week the site has received nearly seven million page views, but I'm having a hard time finding an advertising network that is able to pay good money.

I tried applying to AdSense twice, but got denied both times with the same reason, "not enough content".

I started using Chitika about four days ago, but I have gotten unsatisfactory results so far, with CPC being under $0.01 even though most of the clicks were from United States and Canada. I'll probably wait for a while, and if I'm still receiving bad revenue I'll probably try something else.

I tried applying to Infolinks, but my application was disapproved.

Since the site pays users the site isn't probably fit for every ad network out there.

So, any suggestions?

I see tribalfusion on pastebin.

Go register there, and see if it helps.

I think that with this number of page views, you should advertise your website by your own.
Otherwise, I recommend you advertise.com, it is a great advertising agency for huge traffic websites...

You could address the content problem so you can run adsense or alternatively rediect traffic to an adsense friendly site you own.

I think this would be a great way IF you can find paying customers. But that is where it becomes tough!

You might have a look at http://adclickmedia.com/ not sure if they will accept your site or not. But it's worth a shot.

Are you collecting a list with all this traffic? If so I would email them a product offer that compliments your market and their needs (could be your own product or an affiliates)

If you are not collecting a list, start now!

How are you funding the bitcoin promotion??

I would suggest with that many visits that you build a list and add some premium features.

Frankly, I don't have any experience with that type of website, but I guess that your visitors are mostly programmers. Can you become an affiliate for some of the products for programmers? Maybe some course on lynda.com or something like that...

Might sound silly, but have you tried BuySellAds?

Try searching for personal advertisers. Normally I'm able to have a better relationship with these advertisers and also make more money.

I would like to second the CodCom's BuySellAds suggestion, sounds like it would be what you're looking for technically speaking, however, we don't know what are your expectations in terms of revenue.

if your site is kinda get paid related site, your best friend is ad****z. If you want to monetize base on impression, you can go try adversal. if you no luck, try to learn how linkbuck monetizes their publishers

With that much traffic it would be worthwhile finding some private offers and rotating them through an ad server of your own. You'll quickly get an idea of CTR on different types of ads and be able to work out related products your audience would be interested in.

i think u should apply for buysellads.com lucky if get approve.
or for ppc try admola.com
or if u want cpv ad network i think a-ads.com (looks new but the best thing is they send auto instant payment but on bitcoin only) is good one to try
i suggest u to run both type ads on your site cpc and cpv

find a really good product to advertise that is relevant to your content - pay per subscriptions are typically the most profitable if your users are similar to those of your partner.
