I using Adsense, also i didn't try for yahoo ads.
that is true google adsense was always been best and with out comment it is the best one at the moment. but when comparing with other adsense alternatives, Media.net (yahoo) is the best one. even adsense and yahoo media.net pays almost same. the thing is ypu can use this both together in your website which means you can simply double your income.

I'm using Media.net (yahoo-bing) and adsense in a rotation with a condition that benefits me to earn few more $ with media, also a supporting guide is there to help. But in comparison Adsense is far better .

As for publishers ad-sense account is quiet tough to be approved but you can earn more through adsense

I wasn't even aware that Yahoo still had an ad option. Some years back, the Yahoo ads were popular to use, almost as much so as Facebook Ads or Adwords. However, now these type of ads are no real competition.

Yahoo ads are potential competitor of Adsense, but they are just 2 years old.

I have tried Media.net which it belong to Bing & Yahoo but I don't think that it is better than Adsense since it is have a lot of issued with contextual ads. The problem is that $0.00 per impressive. I think that because the server could crewel our keyword. Thus, the offered the not related ads which cause low impressive. I have contact the support staff but they could not make it better for me. I think that Adsense is still better for publisher.

I would not recommend you to start your journey with either one. If I were you I would go with 7Search or a smaller company so you can learn easier without loosing thousands of dollars.

Google has a extensive network of advertisers and the competition is so good. If you are playing a niche, the CPC of ads served by google is going to be much more higher than any other networks. Also, you will never see a blank ad space at least for 99.9% of time, at least they will try to server similar ads for that space. Adsense is highly recommended.
