does anyone here own a blog ? if so give a link , tell how much you get in money from ads. What your site's about.

I'm thinking of making a blog to get some money from a blog. If anyone's got some tips or ideas please post.

I got round about 50 visitors daily but earn not 10 cents

I made $30 off my blog with Adsense last month. It's not a huge accomplishment, but it's still pretty cool.

There was a great article in last month's issue of Business 2.0 titled Blogging for Dollars, which I detailed here: http://www.clicknewz.com/158/can-blo...make-you-rich/ . Most of the people featured in that article earned their money by selling text links or advertising.

Goldblogger (Jason Cain) also teaches a method of earning via blogging that entails product development and list building. Both are great methods.

I wont tell you how it's done but you can make great money with automated blogs. *Think about it* Hehe.

you can make money on your blogs by writing reviews of websites. advertisers pay bloggers to write an article on their website, good or bad, and have links directing you to their website. it helps them gain exposure, and you get 5-10 bucks per entry.

Blogging is a hard way to make money. It's certainly not a model that you can leave unattended and hope the money rolls in, whether you're monetizing via PPC or affiliations.

Blogs have to work hard to maintain traffic levels, since the only reason people keep coming back is for new posts. Once you've developed a readership you can give them an email newsletter promoting affiliations, or use PPC (not great) or CPA (much better).

Personally, I think blogs are best as platforms to create a group of people you can launch products at.

I think it is better to plan with good thinking if you really want to devote your time for blogging and make money in the process. Blog alone can not make much money - you should make a blog to make your site sticky, to improve your trust level in the market. Once you achieve that you can sell any of your own/affiliate products on your main website.

I wouldn't try to make a living off my blog, but as it is now I can pull in a few extra lift tickets per month

Blogging offers a viable alternative to just plain old text links. Once you have good pr you can really offer advertisers more in the way of content ads.

review affilate products and sell them. find the best product or deal get listed by google and you will make money

I have a blog about modern living (kinda), you'll find a link next to my avatar.

It's not a very profitable blog however, even with a sharp rise in readership I can't expect more than $1/day avg (adsense). Obviously, I do it for love of the subject and it's probably the only site I have that I update to RELAX.

I think blogging can be monetized best by:
- affiliate products
- text links
- list building (and later product launches)

I was able to make few hundred last month off of a blogspot blog using PayPerPost.com

Although the method is controversial, it worked out for me.
