Learn How to Apply the Principles of Web Site Traffic Promotion

Web Site Traffic Promotion - How to Apply the Principles of Web Site Traffic Promotion - Part 1

Is your online business not performing as you had been led to believe it would?

Your website designer built you a great looking site. Looks good to you too! You seem to be getting lots of hits, some leads, and even a few sales that you can directly attribute to your web site.

Still, the leads you are getting turn out to be not very interested when you finally get in contact with them. You are starting to doubt a website is worth the time and expense, but you feel you have to keep a web site presence in today's world.

So what’s missing?

The three core principles of Internet marketing! These three principles are a unique combination of traffic promotion, list building, and sales copywriting. They are vital to almost every online business marketing activity.

Right now, I want you to picture a small, three-legged stool, the kind you might keep handy in your kitchen to reach the top cupboard. Now, picture that one of the legs is too short, or missing. The stool simply falls over. It's the same with the three principles of Internet marketing. If any of the principles is missing, then your online business fails to perform as you expect.

What can you do? First, ask yourself these questions.

Who do expect your web site visitors to be?

Where is the traffic coming to your website coming from? How do you invite them to discover your web site?

What do you want your prospective customers first impression to be the very first time they arrive at your web site?

When and how do you want your web site visitors to introduce themselves?

Why would your leads ever want to communicate with you again after their first visit?

Okay, now you may have a better idea what is missing.

This is going to seem counter-intuitive but stop trying so hard to sell your stuff on that very first visit. 90-95% never buy anything on a first visit anyway. You need to build a relationship that encourages the second visit, the third visit...and so on.

Do you want to learn more about how I do it? I have just completed my brand new guide to successfully creating profits online: "How to Breathe Life into Your On-Line Business"
