Kontera & Adsense?

One of my sites got approved for Kontera. Basically it randomly links words in your text to ads. You get paid for clicks on the ad.

Is it against Google TOS to have these on the same page as AdSense ads? They do not mimic AdSense ads. But could they consider them contextually targeted?

I've been doing some searches online to see what others say, and I am finding mixed messages. Some claim to have talked with Google Reps who say it is okay, while others say that they have as well, but they say it is not ok.

Best advice would be to contact Google directly and get their word on it. I also seen people got the a-ok when others had been told no its not allowed. Google cant seem to make up their mind.

I decided to take off Kontera. It only made a few dollars in the 2 days I had it up anyways. AdSense earns me much more, so I'd rather not jeopordize that for a few pennies with these other guys.

I hate kontera... i got many spam from them. I have no idea how kontera can come to my computer. but it really annoying for me. and i don't get paid any pannies since it come to my computer unknown and i got problem to delete this.

It is against google's TOS to have other contextual ads on your site w/google ads.

I'm not sure how those ads fall into place since they are not reading your content and putting ads to match they are in fact reading your content and putting ads to the words. (I've seen some forums do this and it's pretty nifty for high traffic forums I bet they make a lot.)

I do not like Kontera either. It is annoying to read a site with crappy links all through out.

probably 2 months back, i seen that mix ads is allowed.
