Question adsense warning...grrr...

not sure that this is the most appropriate forum for this, but did not find anything more suitable..

anyway, yesterday morning i got a warning from google about violating some TOS, reason - ads blend too well with the design and i was "formatting neighboring content to look similar to the ads", but dont we all do it???

anyway, i need to email them and say that i made changes, but would first want someone to look at 2 of my other sites and see if the ads are not misleadingly blended in...

i think these sites may be problematic:

www.liza-kliko.com/laurel-wreath/home.htm
www.liza-kliko.com/art

should i place the ads ABOVE the title, and not between the title and content? also, are the link units in the end of some pages could be an issue?

i'd really appreciate any help on this, thanks!

I don't know whats going on. Your ads look fine. I don't know why it is a problem. Your ads are blended very well.

I don't see a problem.

Liza, you could always just email them and ask them what they think about your other sites. They will be more than willing to help you and it will make you look as if you seriously care what their TOS are.

the problem was with another page:
http://www.loreleiweb.com/free_web_h...ory/index.html

the link titles were bold and next to them i had adsense, they looked very much the same and hence visitors did not notice it... so, adsense complain was that i am formatting neighboring content to accompany the ads, which is stupid yet again, because sooo many do it. dont know what triggered them.

anyway, if i email them and ask about these two URL i posted in the first post, and ask if the ads placement is fine, and they would say it isn't... wont they banned be because it has already been online like this for about 2 weeks and generated some clicks?

With most programs the key to keep from getting banned is communication. Keep asking them "What do I need to change, if anything"

From my experience they wont take away your money generated. You will need to change it though or you will get banned and lose all of your adsense money. I had a look at that other site though and didn't even see any adsense ads - maybe they were just too well hidden! Did they still have the ads by google bit on it?

Anyway - either way, just do your best and then ask them for their oinion. They are usually really understanding.

few problem as following:
1. remove the welcome title above the ads. do not put 'attraction' word, eg. sponsor by, advertisement, etc etc. welcome is attract as well.

2. at the bottom lynx award. and another pic. make a border for those pics. because adsense t&c. cant blend it this way.

good luck

I'm not sure what the problem is with the examples you provided, after all BlogSpot does the same damn thing automatically. The only TOS violation I can think of would be if you were using images next to your ads at one point, which they recently officially started cracking down on.
