Successful Web Business-What U should know!!

Sorry if you think I am not actively participating in the discussion.I am virtually a newbie at this and prehaps I might be going about this the wrong way and maybe the questions I should have asked from the beginning are:
(1)HOW CAN ONE START A WEB BASED BUSINESS AND MAKE IT SUCCESSFUL?
(2)HOW CAN ONE SUCCESSFULLY MARKET AFFLIATE PRODUCTS
(3)WHAT IS INTERNET MARKETING-A DEFINITION! AND WHAT ARE THE PREQUISITES FOR BECOMING AN INTERNET MARKETING PROFESSIONAL?

I am sorry if some of you think my post is offensive and I sincerely apologize!I think I now understand that a web -based business in not just a website but in the words of mediatech :
"Modern websites are more than static brochures... they are business applications".
I now understand that one needs a business plan and a SEO strategy.

Unrealfragmaster is right,I got this all wrong but I'm learning all thanks to you guys.

You get points for coming back ihoudini and clarifying. You burned a lot of people coming here saying that you could do a 6 dollar version that competes with our work. You cant.. end of discussion.. lol.

Mediatech, i was just wondering, I thought we were still on the same topic and maybe I was confused. Off topic aint bad, I was just wondering if I missed something...

I was attempting to clarify the appropriate way to attract visitors with
"a free or very low-price item". In my situation those items are free templates, graphics, and project referrals to other web development companies. So far the strategy is working very well.

For example, today I got a project request from the Oklahoma Dept of Commerce. Although I can't handle the scope of the project myself I could potentially generate a referral fee in the future once I decide to charge for such services. That's when I stop providing a free referal service.

I do this for free now to evaluate which web development companies can do the work I recieve project requests for. This is accomplished by getting feedback from their clients about the quality of service they provide.
