Blogs are VERY labor intensive and I wouldn't recommend them if the purpose is just to make money.

But they work great as an add-on to a business where you have topic-related blog articles. Also great if you are passionate about a topic and love to write about it and share your thoughts.

that is what I use my blog for more of a decription of what I am doing to better my way of success and sharing to others - but I do have adsense on there, really do not concentrate too much as much as my other sites - its just a way of expressing

- Blogs can make and can not make money:
-quality and the right content,
-promote your blogs
- get more readers
- then try to convert them.( to your web site, to adsense advertisers or to affiliate merchants).
- the best way is to build just one and to learn how to do the work correctly.
- it is not important to get millions blogsd with all online garbages the most important to have experince to promote and to get the right content.

Follow some of the suggestions some users gave you. You can also use other systems to monetize your blog and put ads related to your content.

I suggest that you take a look at:

V7n @contextual links
reviewme.com
auctionAds.com -> recently launched
Amazon.com
clickbank
Text-Link-Ads

etc.
It can take a while to get some good money from adsense, but if your blog already has a good page rank and traffic, you can get good revenue from reviewing other products and blogs.

you can make a lot of money with your blog especially if it has higher PR. There are lots of "get paid to blog" services out there. I've tried V7n contextual and already earned around $100 i think within a very short time.

But some system require blogs with many traffic. Like Text-Link-Ads for example, they won't consider new blogs with no traffic... how to help the newbie like me then?

you can still do loudlaunch and payu2blog. And if you have any PR, you can likely sell text links.

a few days to a few weeks Lizza. Give it at least a week or two and if you don't hear from them, submit a ticket to support via the blogger dashboard. They're pretty responsive on that system.

well I hae adsense on my blog and text links ad for clickbank and clickbank adsense look a like - I ahve seen some blogs where they put lots of affiliate banners on there website and it makes it look so cluttered - I was thinking of doing the same - so I decided to do it with 2 banners - and tracking them to see if I get any clicks

do you guys recomend cluttering your blog? because I dont think it lokos good personally - might convert back to adsense style marketing

I have assembled a list of some popular paid to blog programs. You can take a look at them here. Only vital statistics available. Plan to write a review for each of them later.

payu2blog is the easiest by far to get approved on and to work with, loudlaunch is probably the most difficult to work with (although their response is quick and positive) and PPP is the best overall in terms of useability/dashboard, etc.

the V7N Contextual program is very simple to work with, like payu2blog, (once you meet the criteria) but would benefit from a user dashboard like PPP's.

1) make your blog the tightest tiniest niche you can think of - like new-age sci-fi for lesbian trannies (ok, extreme example)

2) wait and wait and bookmark and wait and post and wait and wait - this is NOT a short-term source of income, you need patience
