How to proper use of adsense competitive ad filter

HI Guys ,

I want to block some ads of adsense from some domains..

suppose link show on adesense is http://www.domain.com/photo.php

If i will add http://www.domain.com/ , will it block all the ads from this domain .

or i need to enter all urls showed on my site.

If you have domain.com in the filter anything from that site will be blocked. Just above the filter box you should see some examples.

How much time it will take to stop ads from that domain , i have added 1 hour before and i can still see ads from blocked domain.
