I applied to review me a few weeks back but never got an order from them. I guess it doesnt hurt to register your blog there in case someone is looking for something you're offering.

I am registered for PayPerPost and ReviewMe. But while I have not been earning a single cent from ReviewMe, PayPerPost has given me hundreds of dollars PPP is a great concept.

Thanks for sharing guys. My question was more from the buyer's perspective: how effective have these been for SEO?

I've been advertising on PPP since July, and have had great success with it.
I've done a bit with ReviewMe, but had mixed results. First, the cost is much higher, so you should try to justify the cost via traffic, not just link juice.
Second, there have been some issues with uptake of offers. Only 37.5% of the bloggers to which I submit are taking the offer. That means that all the time of finding and reviewing the blog, and submitting the info is wasted.
I suppose that my offers might suck, and I'm not looking at a large sample set, but a ReviewMe support person said that on average 50% of offers are accepted. That seems like a low rate to me, particularly for the amounts being offered.

I have an advertiser account with PPP as well, and I am very satisfied with the service. I've seen a jump in traffic to my website(s) ever since I created an opp in PPP for those sites. In fact I am planning to open a new opp with an investment of USD200 solely for one opp, I found that the more you increase the number of posts for one opp, the more reach that you will get.

I have just registered on both. Lets see what is the best among these two. I have submitted one blog on PPP and I hope it will be accepted.
I have few orders from v7n contextual links program since this one started and not really happy with the orders I'm getting. But lets see if I would get more soon.

If you are using wordpress.com, you should careful, PPP is against their TOS, they can take your account down anytime if you've found involved in PPP or such service.

I used PPP for my earlymiser.comcampaign earlier in the month. Pretty effective and far better than Loudlaunch - I would definitely avoid them. Here's the experience I had with Loudlaunch

No - as a buyer you pay for blogs to post about a site or service. It's a great way to acquire backlinks cheaply (of varying value of course). Blogger get paid a few bucks for the posts.

I use PPP as both a blogger and an advertiser and like it.
Review me I use only as a blogger and like it less.
