Recommended advertising and affiliates.

Hi there,

I have been promising myself to try and make some money.
If I had some recommendations it might help me to pull the thumb out of you know where.

I was wondering if you will be putting up a top ten list of ways to advertise any website and use affiliates.

I have looked at quite a few affiliates but all the double talk and sales bunk is driving me to distraction.

If somebody with experience recommended just one or two of each type of advertising and affiliates it would be a good starting point for newbies like me.
The emphasis would be that somebody has else all ready been driven to distraction

I don't think AuctionAds is as good as some people make out. Alot of people are slowly finding out that they are earning pennies per click on average and not even that with some of them. Although I must admit it does take time, so it's a waiting game with AuctionAds.

I run an affiliate programs directory so I deal with affiliate programs alot and personally think that the best affiliate programs that are rather easy to earn from at the moment is CPA affiliate networks, some Ad networks and some contextual ad networks.

All of these types of programs can be found in my directory just incase you don't know where to find these sorts of programs.

I have found that AuctionAds can be great on a forum - compared to adsense.

I use auctionads on a products site. Some people are doing well in it and then others not quite so well, which is expected really.
