Any CEO Here? Is your website paying the bills

If you are posting on these forums, chances are you are a very smart individual. With that in mind, I woulld like to know if anyone here has quit a 5 to 9 job to start an a successful internet business? If you have not quitted your job, do you consider you internet biz successful?

If your internet adventure or biz is not so successful, but is paying the bills, please tell us about your experience.

If you are making more than what you pay for you hosting, check in and tell us about the smart steps that you are taken.

To me that is what will make all of us stronger, education and making the "benjamins" and helping other webmasters?

Stephani,

Was the experience of quitting your job worth it? Have you been able to generate decent sales of either services or products or both?

Quitting my job was well worth it. I miss the income but I don't miss having an employer telling me what to do.

Good question? Even I am very keen on knowing this ... Is there any individual, who quit the job, and making money more than or equal to what he/she got last in the job ...

I think he means the cliche is usually "9 to 5", not "5 to 9". No big deal.

Yes exactly as stated above. What? Do they do 5-9 in ...somewhere? Anyways to add to your query I am one of those, who likes to make money on the side but will not quit my job/drop school to rely on a big risk like internet earnings. For every 1 Bill Gates and Trump who start off by taking big risks or leaving school, there are countless droves of people who do the same and lose.

By the way 5-9 is a big deal

I quit two months ago, and haven't looked back. Started my own web building/SEO business. Averaged 5k a month the first two months, and have high dollar clients calling all the time. I'm not a great web designer by any means, but can SEO, have a client in the top ten of the seven major US search engines 110 ten times for his keywords (28 of them). (5 Google number ones)
