My first adsense placement

So i finally decided that it was worth using adsense. I have many sites, but decided to put it on www.wholesalechecklist.com. How is it? Any suggestions? Im not breaking any rules, am I? My worst fear is getting kicked off Google or not making any revenue. thanks!

Right now, you are not doing anything against adsense tos. But your ads placement is very bad. Moreover your site is empty. Why place adsense on a site with relatively no content???

BTW, I would forget about linking to the homepage from homepage more than once. It's questionable SEO techique - it doesn't prove that it was suggested by SEO professional.

I am working on the content.

What about if I moved the adsense to replace the writing in orange bgcolor on the index page?

Sorry, but you are doing things incorrectly. Don't focus on AdSense, focus on visitors. No visitors = no income. Only when you get reasonable amount of visitors, you can start thinking about AdSense optimisation. And ads optimisation is different for each site. One site does earn money with horizontal ads, another one might earn more money with vertical ads and some sites profit from square/rectangular ads. Naturally, small ads "sell" themselves with difficulties.

New index page is uploaded. I put a new adsense ad in as a search function. I will eventually add banners once I get a good base of traffic and loyal visitors.
