PayPal Donation :: Fundraising Tool

I had an idea for a script that takes the PayPal donation button and turns it into a powerful marketing tool. I created the script and a service and named it DonationBooster.

What it does is allow you to create a fundraising campaign with a goal and output code that creates a thermometer style graph on your website. As donations are received, the meter increases towards the goal. If you or someone you knows needs to increase donations from their website, check out the tool and sign up for the free service!

It has been quite fun to manage and see how people use it. Even if you have a small site, it is fun to get donations of $1-5 for doing nothing. I imagine if you had a good cause, you might get even bigger contributions. I use the graph on one of my sites and the largest donation I have received is $10. Give it a try!

Service seems not to be working any more which is a shame

However there is another one at PayPal Donation Meter - http://www.PayPalDonationMeter.com

Its $4.95 but that allows you to use the script on upto 3 different websites and you can have the script posted multiple times on the site to collect donations for multiple different reasons, it even allows you to display the name of each donor and what they donated for the last x numbr of donors

Should get your facts straight, paypal does not give you anything free other than a button for donations

What i am talking about is a thermometer style image or custom designed image that changes based on the total donations and a php script that updates a database with all the donations as they are made

Thats what is being paid for

Why would anyone be dumb enough to try and sell just a paypal button lol

Read things better before you comment in future and you will not make such mistakes lol

So even if you do not have PHP or MySQL on your server you can still use the script.
