Adsense no money on clicks ?
Hi guys, i added adsense on my site for some revenue, and my 2 first clicks made me get 0.27$ ... which is ok lol but then yesterday i got 3 more clicks and my total earning is still 0.27$.
does it mean the 3 clicks wasnt worth anything ? or the banner $ was 2 low ?

Did you click them yourself?
Once I suddenly saw a huge swell of clicks at my blog -- tens of thousands in an hour when I normally get hundreds in a day . I contacted google because I was worried they'd think I was doing it.
The told me not to worry, they have methods of detecting invalid clicks and where they came from. Their system did give me nothing for the tens of thousands of clicks.

Your money is based on clicks per thousand and how much the particular click was worth. So if you got 3 clicks for the same amount as two that only means that the clicks per thousand "Estimate" was different for those ads.

To get money from adsense.. Generate more traffic... The more the traffic the chances of money you will generate from your adsense...
And your adsense must be related to your site....

Your earnings is based on the number of click to your blog. If you are familiar with the page impression, it must be high and I advise you to get more traffic and hits to your blog

All the ads have different cpc as well as cpm, that means for some you get $1 or 0.01 $ its the ad the visitor click. These should not be invalid click the clicks where the visitor did not let the page completely download or closed the browser.
How ever if you 3 adsense on a page the CPC goes down, the best is the ad which comes first or with large area. The CPC of Text link ads is less.

Dear JustRetarded
This is violate the Google tos. Don't give your adsense earning information to public. As adsense publishers we must respect to adsense TOs.

Ok first thing u need to do is keyword research on ur site to see what keywords have a better potential for high clicks and have these keywords in your content accordingly. Adsense isnt as easy as making a site and slapping some ads on it. It takes months of research and also seeing which size ads work and where they need to be placed and how well they blend into the content without violated adsense's TOS.

an adwords buyer I often set my content buy point at 1 penny because i've experienced low conversions with context ads. i still often get clicks even though i'm only spending a penny... so you can imagine if you are a webmaster hosting my ad and i'm only paying a penny ... you may get 0.
but as others have mentioned - the 0 cent clicks are usually just from clicks that Google has determined are invalid. maybe the same person clicking on it multiple times, that sort of thing.

Sometimes the visitor clicks on the ad and then doesn't visit the site, the visitor has to be on the landing page or wait for the same to download. If he goes back or closes the pop up google calls it a false click. The clicks get shown on the adsense account but doesn't get you anything.

Zibblu this is why he needs to find out the average amount per click on any keyword so he can get a gauge on how much that keyword truely pays. This average pay per click on adwords keywords must be a broad amount. Meaning not just the top 5 bidders but should be closer to all the bidders. Once he does this the adsense payments will start going up.
there are many good paid tools that will do this

I must admit I've seen a big drop during the last three months. Which is interesting only because there has been a corresponding, though dramatically unbalanced INCREASE in bid amounts for localized Adword campaigns.
I will have to have a look and see if the unpaid clicks have increased during the same period for each site.
I hope it's fluke, but the Google TOS in conjunction with the possible trend is a little disturbing. Fingers crossed I'm wrong
