Unless you are willing to do freelance work, I suggest putting up a nice and marketable site, get a lot of users to it - and later monetize it via PPC, content syndication if applicable, etc. There is really no easy way to earn without doing any hard work. Patience is also a virtue to be considered in this industry. Just a thought

It's not that easy as you say it. Market is always hungry on something, but the competition on the demanding products is huge, so you have to bit your competitors if you want to get money.

You cannot offer everything what's demanding on the market.
First you have to select the products or services you want to offer picking them form the list of demanding items, then do the marketing part. In order to succeed, you have tree choices, eather to spend lot of maney for promotion, or work harder by yourself (that will take much longer to promote your products), or do both of these (which is probably the best way).

Have a great day,
Peter

Get some dropped domains with PR, turn them into blogs with interesting and unique content, sign up to Text Link Ads, wait to get accepted and watch the money roll in.

Points to note:
- Try and get domains with some backlinks, so they don't shed too much PR come update time.
- PR4 is pretty much guaranteed acceptance into TLA no questions asked.
- Make even more money by spending less on hosting - choose a free host like No Catch.

If you do not want to do a "traditional business" then I would highly recommend getting involved with AdSense and affiliate programs and then you should begin to provide quality content on some subjects. Something you are interested in will make it much easier for you to do... but You may be able to make a lot more money by researching to find a high income topic. For example I have a website about engagement rings - not because I'm interested in them but because they are very expensive.

If you have a skill in anything web-related, find a freelance job and go for it.

The pay might not be as rewarding but it'll provide a learning experience, both positive and negative.

I don't agree with that.

Creativity is very essential, because if you don't have a good idea no matter how hard you work, you won't succeed.

Creativity : 20%
Smart Work: 80%

Any good idea will get more complicated when you get to doing it.
There are a lot of different things people do to make money online.
Here are some of the things i see people doing.

sell products; thiers or affiliates. then advertise, free or paid for you must get traffic. Of course getting good traffic is a whole area itself.

Niche marketers find small parts of markets, research if it is a good market and if it is a market they can get into with the resources they have.

Sell services, a lot of people selling services people who have websites would need seem to do well; graphics writing, design and templates.

Have a clever site that gets a lot of traffic and sell adsence or other ads.
Blogs shoot for this a lot. This is pretty much what myspace did.

sell inforamation products, digital downloads. the more hungry the market the better. This is what Internet marketing gurus do but they are only 2% of net biz. I have seen some people do very well with niche info products.
This one guy sold plans to make a potato gun and built up from that, hi did big biz because he had jv partners with big mailing lists. Another lady Holly Mann went to forums about having and raising kids, figured out many people ask the same questions about the same things, then wrote an ebook directed towards answering those needs and sold it by having a link to it in her posts in that forum. She cited that she targeted a hungry market as why she did well. ebooks are 100% profit before any marketing costs. That is something I am working on in my spare time.

I'm new in this to, but if I'm wrong please somebody correct me and let me know so I can give better tips.

If you're willing to spend some money, you could get a program like Dreamweaver. However there are free website creator tools such as nVu.

You're better off shooting for (1).
I've picked (1) and some money appeared (from Ad Sense). I'm hoping that they will be more and more as the time will pass
