How many of you are making a living out of adsense

I just read the largest cheque of adsense it was great to read, but actually how many of us are making a living out of adsense. It seemingly look good to read but the steps required to achieve ones goal are immense.

Step one - publicize your site / blog
step two - drive traffic
Step three - Have Ads and now deal with low CTR.

Lot of suggestions to increase the CTR but the time it takes to make changes and work around strategies is lot; that you start feeling exhausted. Is their a short cut on driving traffic and increasing CTR ?

I am still trying to make my living by Adsense, But still it is really Low... so looking for other options.

I don't. But I do have a cool thing going with my AdSense earnings. I use them for all of my expenses. This is cool for me because then all of the other money I make is pure profit (affiliate marketing - I make about 6 or 7 times as much with that than I do with AdSense.)

Don't rely on adsense... if you get banned you are screwed!!!

I use to make a living out of adsense. But i noticed that the program is unreliable, unless you're some large corporation you can be easily sabotage by your rival. Account removal = game over. There is no way to justify anything. When you get to these situation, you'll probably think, its time to get reliable alternative.

That's not quite true.... if you know how to do it the proper way.

I know other bloggers who are very successful in making living out of AdSense. Of course, one should never rely on one source of income.

I used Adsense in the past, but got banned due to invalid clicks.

I'm currently using AdToll and AdEngage on my websites. I'm not making a living out of it, but it's nice to have some extra money rolling in each month.

Part of my living comes from Adsense. The rest through PayPal and TLA and some other programs. Adsense is still an excellent way to monetize a website, depending on the subject matter.

I agree, do not rely on adsense.
I hate to say this, but Google Adsense is not for me I guess...

I wouldn't rely on a program like Adsense for your main stream of income. If they suspect you of invalid clicks/impressions, it is their policy not to tell you of the evidence on which their suspicions are based.

I see Adsense as simply some extra money for the visitors who just leave your site.

Not true. It's only when you do not obey by their rules, which usually get beginners banned.

Abide by their policy and regulation, and you'll be treated equally.
