2.) You have up to 6 Seconds to make your first impression; Make it a good one! Always update your literature, website, ad copies, etc. (If you meet in person; Make sure your hygene & appearance is Professional).

3.) Procrastinating overcomes us sometimes, Limit it & dedicate yourself to finishing all your tasks. Even if it takes time, the consumer will be able to see the updates / advancements to completion.

4.) You should develope a relationship with your visitors / customers. Make sure they know that you care & thank them for visiting / purchasing.

5.) Hire a business / marketing / sales consultant to brainstorm with & or help with the work load.

I have Ghostwriting services, so in a sense, Yes.

So far I have written over 300+ articles for myself & 150+ articles for others. I'm no expert by far, just 11+ years in Marketing / Advertising / Sales (Combined offline / Online).

This threads over a year old, But for a while I used Submission Spider for free & loaded my own directory & engine params in it so that it was just a 1 click submit. It comes with like 60 already in the free version & the paid version has like 60,000+. Here it is: www.submission-spider.com/features.cgi?10000

Now days I don't have the time to do all that stuff anymore & just pay people to do it for me . Besides, once you submit all your sites to say 60,000+ engines / directories / etc.. It doesn't make much since to resubmit to the same ones again.

These tools are great for getting your site launched at first, but then are not needed again until you have a new site or subdomain in need of listing fast.

I wish you the best

Thumbs down Good deeds in the open

Thanks for sharing this reminder but does sharing a percentage of the profits with a known "cause" still work? Aren't consumers seeing this too often?

It's still being done because not only does it still work, it also gives your company a good name representing Caring & Compassion.

People like to see that others are being helped, even if they don't help them self. So the company name will be remembered, even today in a saturated donation promotion market.

Good info. Thanks. But I don't necessarily agree with offering a lower price. To me that has a negative effect on the perception of value. I'd rather add bonuses and actually raise the price than to lower it. If you're delivering a high quality product catering to the needs of your buyers, you wouldn't need to lower the price.

I like your list. I just want to touch on "building a relationship with your customers". I don't know why, but I read statistics before that if you reply via email you should always start out with some form of entry text. I know I have made the mistake before of just reading their question and spitting off the question.

"Do this, this, and this."

but simply doing this will make a huge difference in their perception of the tone of the email:

"Hello David,

Do this, this, and this."

I always reply with:

Hi David,

Thank you for your email.

You'll find if you do this, this and this...
