Thumbs down Adsense Fraud Control

I have a friend who had advertisement with google adsense in Catalan!
when google adsense was about to pay him the second time, google told that some fraud was detected (without any specifications). He didn't make any fraud, however google don't give any information, even later than an e-mail asking for the specific reasons was sent!

Do you know if an spam attack or similar can be the reason to cancel the agreement between a blogger and google adsense?

Do you know more reasons to cancel a google adsense account?
thank you

Yes. Put "click on the links below", or "my favourite links", or so above every ad. In general there are hundreds of ways how to get your account terminated.

was not the case! It was not my blog, however I know very well and I say that every thing looked like ok!
I think the only one possibility is a spam attack clicking massively!
But its dangerous because you can loss a nice advertisements by an attack induced by other people!

Why are you getting pissed off? You asked if people know ways how to get an account terminated. I answered.

I am not saying that you or your friend did something badly.

Sorry, I'm not getting pissed off.
and I know you are answering and I thank you for interesting point! I think can be really interesting to list the reasons to terminate an account..
And I wanted to include a sub-question.. can an external attack be a reason to terminate an account?

OK , here is my answer to your sub-question: Yes, an external attack can be the reason for terminating a google adsense account. It is difficult to get secured from such attacks.

It's up to google to recognise external attacks. If Google AdSense publishers had more information about clicks (IPs, timestamps), then it would be possible to fight against attacks...

But no application except google's servers tracks all clicks, all broswers, etc. etc.

Thumbs down Publishers in the dark...

The way Google AdSense "warnings" are delivered to publishers leaves very little opportunity for finding a mutually beneficial resolve as Google's approach is to keep all the "relevant" data for itself, leaving the publisher largely in the dark about what "really" happened.

The situation you're describing, with both the "click fraud" and the account "suspension" is a well documented storyline, in countless forums, blogs and "outrage" pages.

It appears the "fraudulent clicks" can't be truly authentified by a third party since only Google is "in the know". For all the publisher knows, this might be Google's "polite" way to make way with certain publishers.

No third party oversight means all bets are off...

Google has previously mentioned that an appeals process exists but I haven't heard about a single publisher who was "confronted" with "hard evidence". It's just a exchange of information where the publisher begs for mercy and Google sets what appears to be even strickter conditions... if things go well.

Keep us posted on how things evolve...

There could be many reasons like clicking your own ads, getting involved in click exchange, violating the TOS of adsense, etc., etc.
