Need Some Help With Money Making Ideas

I've been talking to a number of people who all think I should be making a few hundred a month off of my site and yet I earn like 50 cents a day.

I'd love to shoot someone over my website to see if they'd have any ideas. Any takers?

How are you currently monetizing your site? Adsense?

Typically, more traffic = more money, so if you can boost that, that should help.

I don't use adsense. My content is too "iffy." I ha adsense up but it would disappear from time to time.

I use Adbrite and a couple of affiliates.

I imagine it's like exploiting MySpace, make as many contacts as possible. Then spam away with messages about your website, leaving comments on 'walls' etc.

I don't see how it could effect your ranking in SEs, but Facebook would certainly frown upon it and probably start banning accounts.
