Hmmmm.... I guess you got me there. I thought it was obvious that I do offline marketing as well as online. Sometimes, I can get caught up in online marketing and forget about the good old fashioned B 2 B marketing.
I am the Marketing Manager for two of the local Liberty Tax in my area during the tax season. During the season, I will visit about 50 businesses a day. I introduce myself, hand them a dozen Krispy Kremes and explain to them I have about 3,000 clients that will visit one of my offices over the next several months. I also explain to them, that those clients will also be on the look out for discounts of local area businesses.
I close by letting them know that if they have discount coupons or are running specials, I will put them in my stores. The response is overwhelming. If they do not have any coupons, they go and get them made. Who does`nt like free advertising?
There are several variations I use with this marketing ploy and it`s a sure bet that some of you know more than I do. This is just one of the tools I use to market products offline.
I hope this explains it better
