How to get a Joint Venture

Anyone have any good tips and feeback on finding joint ventures. Any good ebooks? I am looking for to split profits 50-50 to rent a list to market my products. Any feedback is appreciated.

Finding good partners is always tough ... sometimes finding any partner is tough :-)

You could aways offer your product for sale at clickbank or other such sites ?

A friend directed me to www.privatejvclub.com recently. Apparently a membership site designed to help JV partners find each other and to learn/teach JV info. Not a member myself (nor affiliate) yet but it looks interesting.

You can also post on forums such as these for affiliates, also look at posting at forums.digitalpoint.com but have some set of criteria handy for qualifying who you want to work with.

I would look for a JV broker.

Do a search for it.

They are JVs buddys who will pitch your product.

Having a JV allows you to promote a product to usually a large amount of users at no cost up front.

Here are a couple of good reasons and benefits for a JV:
* You both will have different skills - lowering costs and increasing the value of your projects, products and websites.

* You do the work he does not like doing and he does the work that you do not like doing.

* Your projects get done AT LEAST twice as fast, because:
- You push each other
- You give each other deadlines
- You don’t have to outsource barely anything, so you are in control of your time
- You try to impress each other with your work

* You do projects that the other wouldn’t have otherwise done by theirselves [sometimes large projects can be confusing and intimidating to take on by yourself].

* Launches are much bigger because you both know different people and have different
contacts.

* Customers seem to be more comfortable purchasing a product or membership from a
“team” rather than a single person.

* Simply put, two heads are better than one.
- More ideas are put on the table and executed
- This increases the quality of the product [both appearance and information]

* You learn a ton from each other.

Now you can see just how important having a partner or partners can be. My advice is to let the development of a relationship happen on its own. Hang out on the forums, participate, help out as much as you can and socialize with people. You will eventually develop relationships…when the time comes snag up your partner and start building your empire! I’m also not saying at all that it can't be done on your own but partnerships can be important and the potential can greatly improve your income. This does not mean you can not start building your empire on your own for now.
