Depends on your niche, but you can put affiliate products eg. clickbank or Amazon etc.

I have tried AdSense and AdBrite. Now I am sticking with AdSense because of their rate is better. But I hear affiliate ads could make you better money if done right; you may wanna check that as well.

i think you should puts ads that may relate to ur website if not then make it ad frees. something ads can be annoying.
