"Google Ad Sense" if grossly outperforming "Ad Brite" for me, I am currently using both.
I only get about 100-200 unique visits a day right now so maybe I don't have enough traffic to get a good market test, yet.

Adsense offers an action plan as well, which is just like doing affiliate work. However, the programs that I have the most success with are eBay Partner Network and Amazon. Though, if you are looking for a butt ton of programs to choose from, try CJ.com or MaxBounty.com

First off, Adbrite is not an affiliate program / affiliate network... they do CPM display.
If you are new to the affiliate game, I would suggest signing up with one of the power networks out there: Performics (Google's new toy), CJ, ShareAsale, or LinkShare.
Once you are accepted, search up some programs and start promoting!
