How do you research and find out a potentially profitable niche in terms of Adsense?

This is a little hard to me. I've ventured into several niches that pay miserably in terms of Adsense. Could anybody successful tell me how do I effectively research and find out what niche to build that's profitable through Adsense?

Travel is excellent, because it's a growing niche plus many people use Adsense to research holidays/flightrs. I have several travel sites and it's a good niche, as long as your site is configured to convert.

There are also countless other niches that have big Adsense payouts. I've got a report that details the top ones, if anyone wants it just PM me.

Yes, i guess so. Obviously the more people who knows about the opportunity the more competition there is. I suggest you go research on your own about the latest trends. Higher demands but low selection is good rule of thumb to find a good niches.

Set up AdWords Campaigns (DON'T BUY THEM!)

Just see how much it costs to set them up based on keywords and base your AdSense sites around that. Since AdSense splits a percent of the profit with you, you'll have a good idea of how much each keyword makes.

Good tip, but how do I do that. I once used adwords in an attempt to get some affiliate sales but never supplied google my payment information thus not buying them, however I didn't see any price information *before* you actually buy them.

That'd be sweet, but I find the difficulty lies there - how exactly does one find a good niche that pays well while not many else knows about it. Most of us would find it based on luck while a few may be able to find very profitable niches through routine procedures they have.

How do you research and find out a potentially profitable niche in terms of Adsense?

you can probably find lists of high paying keywords out there but the competition will be fierce, if not impossible if you don't already have a 10 years old site on the subject that got all its links when the web was new and
hi
i m vidya
webmasters were freely giving them.
As for finding the "just right" niche that pays decently but the competition is moderate, asking about them is like asking a good card player his methods, a great chef his recipes, a magician his tricks, etc. Nobody will just tell you "oh, to make a lot of money, you just need to do this and that." It just doesn't happen.

What's left is being the best at writing about something you know about, and make sure to consider "what would be the advertisers interest in displaying ads on this topic". in other word, do consider the potential commercial demand.

You can use Adwords Keyword Tool for that. But, instead of going for high paying niche go for one in which you have high level of interest.

It seems like if you can find the next big niche right before the massive rush of websites come then you can make some good profit but that seems to be very difficult

My advice is to forget about "service" topics and concentrate on "product" topics

Go to amazon.com and look through their categories - then check whatever interests you with the google external tool

Build your site using high value search phrases AND use a free service to display targeted amazon products on your site's pages - affiliate-script.com

I already search this kind of stuff. I saw the top 50 most paid ads on Google and one of the most paid niche is all about debt and credits. As far as I remember you can earn up to 50 USD/click.

Just wondering how much Google pays AdSense publishers for such clicks.

Cheers!

Now that's a good question!

It's certainly not going to be $20 to $25 dollars

I have finance sites and adsense varies wildly as google as 2 adwords pricing models - search and content

Search is for ads displaying on google's search results pages

Content is for ads displaying on our sites

A "search" bid may cost $6 minimum but the advertiser can bid 1 cent for the same keyword on a "content" site

So, my experience with high bid price search phrases is an average of $1 dollar to $1.50 per click adsense payment - but odd clicks can be anywhere from 20 cents to $5
