Having Visitors Click?

Im really just looking for the key to get my website visitors to click the ads on my site. I have tried everything to get them to click by placing ads in great places and truning them into text relevant to the topic.

nothing. not one click

I have about 13,000 visitros a month to. and get this. my friend has a site that is not finished at all and left it with one adsence ad at the bottom of the page for 8 months without even touching the site and blam last he check he had $50.00 for nothing!

I got kicked off of adsense so i can't use it but could anyone please reccomend some techniques or programs.

adbrite is also good for content site but you have to know where to place the ads

Can you explain what type of traffic your site is getting, this may explain why your results are not up to par with expectations. If your sites visitors are actually looking for the content your site offers contextual advertising should be doing you a little better than this.

What site of yours are you referring to?

well the link to my site is in my signature both links are connected to the same site and it is a web resource site similar to this offering advice and tools on SEO and website marketing. i have a blog, forums, directory, and a free games section going. I have free seo tools and i get tons of visitors every day. the problem i seem to be having is that they see the content and read and leave. they don't read then think hmmm i want to read more.

Wow, you do have a hard niche to work with. The only thing I can think of is going to adbrite and using full page ads, in line ads and Medium rectangle (300x250). If you use the 300x250 banners change your pictures to match that size. That way you can mix the banner with your links.

Try creating a text link ad that looks exactly like your menu. Place it at the top of your menu as the first set of links. Give that about 2 weeks and see if your income increases with whatever ad network you use.

im going to switch ad networks to adbrite for a little while and see how that goes. i have noticed that adtoll is only picking up pageviews that come directory from my computer. which is odd. i feel that it may be missing clicks. ill see how adbrite works.

I'd really rather not make any recommendations to someone who was blacklisted with google. Just seems supicious, there is no way to make a visitor click and that kind of wording is what leads to click fraud.

That's really a harsh thing to say and very unfounded. My site is black listed does that make me a suspicious site too? OMG! This site "v7n" doesn't have google ads. Maybe they are doing suspicious things here and your on it posting all the time making suggestion to people.

Point is: you have no clue what happen. Don't assume (ass-u-me) anything. If you would like I can show ample examples of sites that have been band for reason that make no sense what so ever. There is even video's out there of what 1 site did that got him banded and when you watch it you'll say "WTF."

Personally I hate Google and their "do as I say, not as I do" attitude. Need a good example of what I mean? Do a google search for the word "boobs." You'll get thousand of pictures of them right along with google ads. If you show boobs on your site with google ads, you'll get blacklisted.

I was banned from AdSense as well. It was in the middle of a 3 month deployment when I was stationed in Japan. With no real Internet access, I had the emails forwarding to my email account on the ship. I got notification that my account was closed due to "violating their policy." I tried to appeal.

I specifically asked them what I did to be banned, they literally responded with just "we've investigated this matter and we confirm that you've violated our policy, so your account is irreversible." Okay, that doesn't tell me crap. WHAT did I do? I obviously couldn't be clicking on my own ads so many times nor could I be making any changes while I was out there. It took 30-45 minutes JUST to check my damn bank account!

We're talking about the floating city, Kitty-Hawk. The oldest carrier alive! Just talking on the phone has 2-3 seconds delay going either way. That takes months getting use to. It took me and my wife a year to get use to that really. I'm out there defending my country and contributing to world peace and I get banned. LOL. Whatever.

Sooner or later, people will realize what's going on. Good luck to those who are still using AdSense. That's all I have left to say.

adsense drives me nuts. I can't see how I was making $25 a day with google and with them I was making $.45 a day. It took me 18 months to make $100.00 LMAO

Now I push porn dating sites. At least I make something now. LOL

The reason I got banned from Google. I had 2 pictures of girls doing a "hand bra" (no nipple slip) and they said that was ob seen. Of course they didn't tell me this until I was banned for over 1 month. (after the review)

Forget about the 480X60 standard banner, the click rate is very low. Choose the rectangular ads

I'm not making assumptions just because he was banned in google. I'm using all available information to me to make an educated guess as to the motive of this thread. I've seen it enough times.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

ahahaha.. i hope my blog will be safe.. lols.. since theres a lot of hand bra thingy photos there... hehehe

don't know why i was banned but it was 5 years ago on a different site that doesn't exist anymore. so its way old news. still can't get my account back. iapealed 4 years later. still nothing

adbrite seems to be picking up all of the visitors yet still no clicks.
