A few comments that hopefully will help you...
1. How original is the content? I took three sample examples and searched for it in Google, and turned up exact matches on 2 or 3 other sites. Are you just taking publicly available text and re-publishing it? If so, what is the value-add of your site? Why would a visitor come to this new site of yours instead of staying with the other existing sites that have been around longer and serve the exact same information (and I mean *verbatim*) that you are serving?
2. I see that you are using WordPress. Consider turning on the comments features to invite more visitor participation.
3. The Blogroll is filled with non-relevant links to the maritime topic. Worse yet, it contains links to industries that is notorious for spamming the web (adult dating, online games, free stuff, etc.) To me, the Blogroll screams "I'm just setting up this site for money, not really to contribute to the community". I'm sure that is not your intent, but if that Blogroll inspires that kind of feeling in this one visitor, you might want to consider if any others would feel the same.
