I bought this domain name last year, put up a site for a little while, then took it down. Well, last night I decided to put it back up. I spent about 45 minutes, restored the old database, installed the latest version of wordpress, installed a theme I had used on another one of my blogs, added some links to the sidebar, made a new header,,,,.

This is just a starting point and is only about 45 minutes worth of work, maybe an hour.

What do you think and what do you recommend?

It's nice good color scheme and all but it's a template site right? You didn't code anything yourself I believe. It serves the purpose and has marketing ability especially if another Half Life is released (Which could happen

But since its a pre-made template I cant really say anything bad about it but I can't compliment your abilities since you didn't make it yourself. But good website

Actually... your site has a quite standard design. However... there are a lot of sites for these type of games which are absolutely worse... So in that respect: nicely done.

It looks pretty good to me. What are you planning to do with the site? Because it looks like it could use some monetization. Or maybe it's just for fun. Either way it looks pretty good and has a decent link profile too.

Yeah, monetization, maybe some ads, or if you get enough visitors you could look into sponsorship deals

Also you should add comments! Let people participate.

As people said before, the design is quite standard but you have a lot of content.

Easy to use and good to read.

Cool it even kept its page rank. I can def see the site to start generating some traffic. Maybe get a cool custom theme made for it so it looks more gamey ya know

I play Counter-Strike better this is a great site for Half-Life lovers because it has SO much information on it! Nice job! You could use more designing though. All the best!

Yes, I used a template on it that has been slightly modified. I will probably add some adsense banners on it. But I'am gonna give it a little while for google to index all of the pages, and get the sitemap indexed. Maybe in a month or two I might put some banners on it.
