Before I begin -

Abiout the name. Don't worry about it seeming pornographic. Game players will get the reference, and they're my audience. I know the name is a little risky, but I feel that a name like that would be an instant indication that we're a little more...brazen. That is sort of the point. If any of you guys know Maddox, people fell in love with him because of that sort of attitude,

I'm also no web building master. I sort of learned how to make a site while building this one. I'm not using this as an excuse. I am, actually, proud of how far it came from just being a thought. The site gains its strength from "charm" in the content. Candor and humor.
There's a whole mess of profanity, so if you're not into that than beware.
Otherwise here it is.

Take a look at the overall layout. Are things easy to find? Do things make sense? How much do you have to actually think in order to find content? Is the ad placement alright?

Your site has a very classy feel to it which i like. I think it achieves this from its simplicity. The layout is very effective as all content is easy to find.
One thing I would consider changing is the sub-section title colors. I think they blend into the main content a bit too much. For example the MAIN menu looks like it could be part of the advertisement. If you figure out a way to define the more important aspect of the page, then the site would be greater than it already is.

Thanks for the feedback, Tom. I think you're right, so I changed the colors of that to the yellow that I use for links. Any better? Looks good to me, but it's always good to get a second opinion.

The layout is simple, but it should be more elegant. At first glance, this doesn't look like a high quality site to me, especially because of your top banner. Otherwise, it's good.

I honestly don't have the ability to make it high quality. I'm just sort of banking on "charm" factor right now.

But what about the top banner don't you like?

Oh Wow. Now it looks good. Maybe it is because the computer I was using before had IE 6?

Still, a high quality site shouldn't have profanity or "rocket whores".

Profanity is kind of key here. Our demographic is really 16-28 year old males like most game sites. It adds a sense of candor and low-brow humor that's popular with them. We'll see. I was nervous about the name and profanity at first, too. It's risky and can either make us seem more "cool" with our demographic, or like a couple of jerks. Again, we're very new so after a couple of months we'll see how much (if at all) we need to change the image.

Seems to look a bit different on different browsers but maybe its just me. No offense but at first click, i was already bored. And at first click, I have no idea what the site is about. Although, maybe the site is only for a directed traffic that is meant to be there looking with a certain goal.

good job on the html though. I did a check and it came out very clean and the mouseover colors are very cool.

Yeah it's only a video game commentary site, as stated at the top, under the banner. Anyone else would find the site not really to their liking. But again, I'm looking for reviews on page layout and ease of use.

And thank you. It took me a long time to find a color scheme that looked good
