A lot of excellent things going on, but also some room for improvement (better to be honest than nice). Multi-colored header is great. Mid-Top bar with "The Japanese Car buying guide" is cool and unique. Navbar is pretty outdated. Could be reworked a little. Very nice how the home black mixes with the bottom part. Excellent hover effects throughout the entire site. Background isn't ideal. Mobile friendly issues. But nice hamburger-to-x. Overall, good, but could be pushed to great with just a few changes.

Just my ramblings. As always, design is subjective.

To be honest bro I have seen this template so many times, so many websites are using it but its also a good thing because if too many people are using it means it has some good features and its a user friendly website

Thanks for the responses. Yes, Sahifa theme is popular. But very user-friendly, in my opinion.

Considering mostly Men would be reading this site,

None of the colours selected for the coloured titles pass the colour contrasting testing.

From a SEO and accessibility point of view (Google does consider accessibility), I would change the Read more links to Continue reading (title of page/post) and add the title attribute to all your internal links. You just have to find (or have your designer find) where the links are created and add the coding for the post/page title.

I think I would fix it so post lists included the same amount of content so the boxes are equal size. Requires some fiddling but makes things look tidier and good for SEO.

Have you considered adding Schema and Twitter card coding to the pages?

Website performance can be improved:

- Combine CSS/JS files and minify them
- Add "Expiry headers" to your static files

SEO:

- Add meta description

All the best!

How do I check this? This is the first I have heard of a color contrasting test.

I have seen this theme/template on a few sites. It is kind of clean and simple.
But, I don't like the color combinations overall. Maybe do something about that.

Also, I really liked the 'Breaking News' bar.
And maybe add some drop-down menus if possible.

And also, Add a login through social accounts thing for commenting, as there is no registration option.

Lots of comments about the colors. Probably need a redesign. Oh well. Thanks for the honest input.

I like it, it simply works.

My negative points are that it looks a little dated and I agree with the male dominant viewing therefore a recheck on the colour scheme would be advisable I suppose.

UX is fine for me as well, how long have you had this theme before?

I've been using Sahifa for years now on other sites. I really like it, but this color scheme is not the best.

It doesn't say 'Japanese cars' in its design for me. Stronger branding is required to assure the visitor they are where they want to be. More prominence to the Japanese sections over the others etc.
