Review: themeply.com

https://themeply.com

I would like an overall review of the site. Layout, Images, Sales Copy, SEO.

If you would like to review the MasonryGrid WordPress theme as well, enter the email tryit-at-themeply.com (replace -at- with @) on the download page. I spent over a year making this, and don't worry about being too critical. I can handle it. Thanks!

Why aren't the videos aligned? The mass of slightly misaligned boxes plays havoc with my eyes I'm afraid.

Sort that out and I think it has legs.

Featured videos should have far more prominence.

Thank you for your reply, Woomeister.

Were you referring to the alignment of post previews on the video demo? https://masonrygrid.com/video/

That's by design (when using the masonry layout - think pinterest layout).

You can change the Post Preview Layout in the WP customizer to Flexbox, Masonry or Fixed Height:

Of course, the post titles could be edited to be the same length so they are all one single line.

As for the featured/sticky posts - all the attributes can be changed in the customizer as well:

Thanks again for your critique. Cheers.

Okay I see.

yes i was talking about the video preview boxes. They should all align for me. I wouldn't want to have to play around too much to get them to do it i'm afraid, if the option is easily used then great.

By more dominant I meant that the features should be given a bigger presence as the norm.

If it is all customisable then okay, but for me I want clean lines.

Good luck, I hope it does well for you.

The product itself seems pretty cool but I think the design of the landing page needs to improve. The page is a bit messy and could do with some design tweaks. Make sure all boxes are lined up and that you are following an appropriate colour theme/branding. Have a look at Google Material Design for some awesome info on color layout on your app or website.
