Bah... you no cook?! Hum... but I do need a graphic artist chef. But I won't worry about that right now. I'll be back later tonight so any more crits would be well appreciated.

Graphic artist chef?
These analogies are killing me.
Do you want someone to make graphics for you?

I immediately thought this was a body building site. I even clicked on links and there were more bodybuilders. Is it not? A short "about k-max" paragraphic at the top would do wonders.

Eh... I'll think about it. It'll involve a complete overhaul of the home page.

I guess that's the major issue, what is the site about when one glances at it.

In the new version should I go for splitting the site into different sections / genres (ie. anime.kmaxmedia.com / bodybuilding.kmaxmedia.com / entertainment.kmaxmedia.com)? And use www.kmaxmedia.com as a sort of portal for the 3 (or more) sections?

I don't even think it has to be that extreme. I think most of your time should be spent, like you said, making it clear what the site is about at first glance. Categories would be nice too. I don't know how much you know about blogs, but I see this as a very blog-like site. Organizing blog entries by category is a useful feature, and one you should consider for your next revision.

Your site is definitely unique, and has a very original style and personality. Play off that as much you can. But don't focus so much on bodybuilding, unless you want this to be a bodybuilding site!

You might also want to consider moving to a blog format. Check out movabletype.org for more info. It has a built-in SQL backend and web-based control panel where you can add/delete entries. I once completely customized an installation to meet my design needs, so it's do-able for a design-conscience person like yourself.

yeah keep it simple...no need for the separate branching or what not.

How do you mean? Say on a home page, have a column for each category? Something like that? Say like this site:

http://www.sphosting.com/tapichanz/

Somthing like that right?

heh, I'm waaay ahead of you. I am reducing the bodybuilding content in 2004.

Hum... that's definetly something I'd consider. It compacts the text more which is what you want. Though, how would I show if the update is bodybuilding related or anime related or something else (other than showing a pic?)
