Design wise it looks good

I have an SEO advice for you

your URLS need a little clean up instead of Default.aspx?ID=2503
you could have /category/2503 or /category/categoryName

you can look for a solution using htaccess

thank you for your advise, I know that I can do that with htaccess,
I have made it for my other free general directory ABACULUS.net but I have problems with the loading speed when I use htaccess. I don't know why, but sometimes it is exremly slow. Do you have any idea how to optimise the speed when using htaccess?

Just a quick observation. You have some text in the third column going over the border.

It is a nice site. However I think it is too busy for an entrance page. Also, it took a good 5 seconds before it started loading. I am not sure if that is due to my broadband or the webserver. The logo seems to need a little work because it seemed very pixelated

Site loads very slow. Design is cool, but as GiorgosK said, try with SEO friendly URLs.

Can I be blunt, as with another site i have visited today ....... whats it for?

I can see its got something to do with places and the are bids on guides? I have no idea what i am suppose to do or why i should add a link.

There should be some kind of simple graphic direction or key colour movement to direct surfers and contributors to where they need to go. Is this not another commercial site that I would 2 sec flick......?

If you are poffering a travel guide system then say so, if its a holiday portal then give a little indication.

This is only my opinion and as ther are millions of websites about you need to stand out and shout what you do, how well you do it and why we should click any links.

Good luck and I am willing to blinedly test the site again if i can be told what I am lookin for

Your site tooks very long to load:
It has a nice design. But the border is too much. You should put more content in the site, or do it bigger (or more links at the border).
The color sheme looks nice.
There are also a lot of html-mistakes, which you should fix:

Some advices :
1-The background in the search icon on the top is white and doesn't match with the header background which is blue
2-In the highest bid section the url is too long and goes out the box.
3-The home page is too full , try removing some things
4 - The site is too long.The user has to scroll alot to reach the bottom.Maybe add the country list in another page

Site seems to take a long time to load. The overall design is ok, but not really impressive. In some cases the layout is a little confusing.
