Well, I like the colors and your logo is very nice - but, unless I'm missing something, I don't know what this site is for. I see you can upload files - but, then where do they go once you upload them?

The site is for posting pictures in the forums, auctions, etc. So, instead of buying a hosting package, you can upload the images onto the site and the site will provide a link to your image.
For example, I have just uploaded this:

Ohh ok. That's a very nice service, and I'm sure people will use it if you explain the site's purpose at your site.
Your own words here would be good to post up at your site:

You should get a link to your image, which you can paste into a forum posting for example. I am looking more for usability feedback.

The problem is, if some one does not know what your website is for they just won't use it. You have no indication of what it is about or what will happen.
Can I assume people will be directed to your sight knowing what it is all about, cos that would be the only way your approach might make any sense.
At least give you potential users an idea of what it is all about, they can't read your mind over the web

That's exactly it People who don't know what the site is for, won't find it. I'd like users to search for "image hosting", etc. and find my site.

IMHO - even if someone came across your site while doing a search for "image hosting", they will probably pass your site up since they still won't be able to surmise what it's about. We need to read about why we should use your service over someone else's; we need to know what you have to offer us. I also think you should post up some rules and instructions for the use of your site. Without any rules posted, what's to prevent someone from uploading 1,000s of photos? Or, what's to prevent someone from uploading porn, if you don't want to allow such a thing? Also, potential customers might want some assurance from you that you won't be selling any of their uploaded images.

OK. If that is how its going to operate then you might get away with it. But...
From a new user's perspective, a little guidance as to how to proceed and what to expect would be reassuring. I assume they will already know the rules and your terms and conditions and you'll have a privacy policy?.
Would there be a way of removing an image if required and will your user have access to it?
You can see from do-over and my responses that even though we are willing to entertain your site, we want more information ? If nothing else that gives you a clue of how a user will approach the site.

Looks usable, but it doesn't say anything about WHY I would want to upload anything. Confusing.

Well I'd say, usability-wise... You got %100 bang on there. But since it's just a logo and a form, that's not saying much at all.
Visiting that made me wana run away.
Even if someone found your site through a search for 'image hosting' there's no level of securtity, profesionalism or reason to use your service that I can see, read or even glean. To me, it looks more like a scam, not an above board image hosting service. If you do indeed want to offer this as a trusted service, you need to prove to the visitor that it is exactly that, otherwise you'll just drive people away.
