Review : golferstube.com
I made several changes with my website in the past few days and wanted to see what the experts around here thought? I added the newsticker on the front page and under the rate my swing section I added an area where people could post comments? Any suggestions? Thanks, Ryan

I don't critique many sites but I love golf so...
The site is very clean and easy to use. I love the rate a swing area. It's very nice. That dude David doesn't deserve a 5.4 rating for his swing though.
I think you need a change to the font but don't know what to suggest.

When I went to your site, my cpu usage went to 100% and my browser froze up. I don't know why.

Your site:
- has an excellent design
(maybe make the top left nav text a bit less tatty)
- i think u should make some large headings in the main part of the page too, because it's hard to draw my attention to anything but the tickertape and the header image and the 4 logos (maybe have a hover effect on the 4 options to the right)
- "online Golf Lessons" should be maybe 200% its current size
- "GOLFERSTUBE.COM" isn't needed as a heading in main content because the logo is enough
HELP

My suggestions are, get rid of that scrolling marquee thing. It's too much movement in that area, especially with the rippling effect on your lake.
Also, I am not a fan of the font in the menu bar. It looks odd, and the letters are too small.

You site is nice but a bit heavy on resources like previous poster pointed out, perhaps you should move the video that takes time to load to inner page.

Nice looking and clean. I do not like the homepage scrolling news. Is there that much news about golf everyday that it need to go by that fast. Its a little distracting. Also on the homepage the background that fades from green to white is a little hard on the eyes. The page at that point seemd to get lost.

Hey dude I dig this! I myself am both a web designer and professional golfer so I can really relate to this site as a whole. I dig the logo design and your color choices. Good job!

Marquee seems fast. You might want to add a text JOIN for FREE link under the login button in the upper right to encourage registration.
