Hi newsaroo,

Here are my pros and cons for your website:
Pros:
- Nice big bold icons and banners
- Very clean design. Well done.

Cons:
- I don't see the link between molding toasts and videos, music and photos =|
- A favicon in the shape of a toast maybe ?

Hey Jeff,

Someone else mention the Favicon too. I'll get that done.

It's not about the correlation, it's all about the that name...moldytoast.com. Moldy what? Exactly.

Thank you and I do appreciate the input. I'm trying to get that damn logo perfect and you know it can be difficult (or deadly) critiquing yourself.

Now, I need to head over to marketing and talk about simple promotion. Myspace took 6 months before it saw traffic and I'm hoping for the same. I keep saying I need a niche. Darn niches. LOL

Great name dont want to be too critical but if it was my site i think i would have one slice of mouldy toast as opposed to two in the logo.

If anyone sees your link anywhere i'll bet they click on it just to see an image or logo of mouldy toast.

Good luck anyway hope it takes off for you.

Logo is looking nice, I would definately get rid of the mould around the rest of the site though, it's too much and things are busy enough already imo.

Love the domain name! The design is ok I think. It seems to be very easy to navigate, and everything is laid well. All in all I would give it a 6/10.

I keep changing and working with the script to put different variations out there to be critiqued. I have cleaned up the look a lot and inserted the videos horizontally for better navigation. Once I talk with investors (seed money) I'll be hiring a more advance programmer to "really" spruce up the script. However, for now I must keep the look and sweat it out. LOL.

In regards to the domain, I appreciate the compliment. I can't take all the credit, my neighbor's 12 year old daughter thought of this excellent domain. Now she wants a % if the site takes off to new heights. LOL.

Yes, I'm still at it and I'm not going to give until it's look fantastic. I did clean up the look and did delete the one piece of toast and mold (LOL). Can you smell the mold?

Also, I did insert the button in the header.

Tell me what you think about moldytoast.com (and the name too).

Went to your site and got surprised. It is a very nice site. The layout is similar to myspace. It is fast to navigate in between pages. I assume you are on reliable server then? :p

To review a bit more requires me to log in..I haven't yet register on the site so I guess thats all for my review.

And by the way, you can try Dolphin. It has so many features and I think it is great for your site.

Thank you for the review and "yes", you can log in however email verification (at this moment) is not needed. However you should provide a valid email is for lost password etc.

Dolphin...no, I read to many horror stories about Dolphin.

Once I get funding (seed money) I will enhance the script with extra mods (e.g. live video feed for amateur bands, video chat, voice record etc.). Right now, I have some people interested wanting to discuss a possible venture; however most just talk a bunch of BS and right now I have my guard up.

In regards to the name, it is very marketable and easy to remember. When mentioned, people will ask what in the hell is moldy toast? LOL. Is a name you'll forget...never.

Almost forgot. Reliable server?...no, not until I obtain seed money. Once that is established then we will use a dedicated server. Once that happens folks will have the opportunity to upload more video and it will be converted to flash.
