Please review Stomple.com
I'd really appreciate any feedback on my site. Stomple.com
I know the design is not much. I can't afford a designer and I'm no good at design myself. So I had to use a free template, but hopefully it is at least clean and uncluttered.
I'm mostly looking for opinions on the concept, organization and content. Does the site make sense to you? Anything you would change?
Anything you have to say would be appreciated. Please give your honest opinion.
Thank you.

Why is this kind of thing allowed here? This guy did not visit my site, and probably not any of the other sites he posted this exact same absolutely worthless "review" on.
I'm starting to wonder if this forum is going to be a helpful place or a place where spammy crap makes up half the posts, just like most of the other webmaster forums out there.
I was hoping this place would be better.

I think this could be better. I like the idea but for its layout, I don't see something which could emphasize what kind website it is

Very clean - however, each article seems to take alot of space, especially with the graphics (visitors hate to scroll). You may also consider more menu items (as listed in your sitemap page).
Now, make the site popular!

Your site looks great and has entertaining content. I can't help but get the feeling that you have some great articles burried deeply in the site where few people will be able to find them. The site seems to be begging for a rating system where visitors can rate articles and browse through articles sorted by rating. Due to the nature of the site I think multiple ratings would be nice, like "entertaining 1-10", "informative 1-10", "offensive 1-10","silly 1-10", etc. That way depending on my mood I can select the type of articles I would like to read.

You shouldnt expect so much feedback being that you are using a template, and its basicly just filling in the blanks. I think the idea here is to review peoples artistry, and design, and theres not much of that in a template.
Anyways for what it's worth the orange text, especially the small stuff burns my eyes.

It's going to happen from time to time Stomple. Sorry about that. Though it is par for the course for a public forum. Just take comments like that with a grain of salt.

the colors and feel are web 2.0 which is good but the negatives of a template are the lack of difereniating your site from the "common" look but a good start - good luck

As you said, it is a free template. What can you expect? With that understood, though, the content on the website isn't bad IF people are looking for that (if they come to your site then they will). The website should also have more links in the navbar. I think it would also be cool to have an article section and a media section with random (funny, crazy, etc) videos.
My overall advice would be to work with what you have and just keep updating and progressing the website through adding more pages, links, and content (both articles and videos).
Good luck!

The content is good but the template is quite common, but still it is great and has a nice appearance which is good for visitors.
