Review the new look Lushable.com
Still got a lot to do design wise, Lushable technology news.
The ads are a little too much I know I will take some of them off. We still need to do a little bit of the design. What are your thoughts so far? Any improvements?
Thanks!

What is the purpose of the site?
You do need to work on the ads. Not only too many, but out of place and scroll way too far down a page.
As my text view size is set to smaller, the text appears very small, especialy the categories list. Same for the menu list.
Also, all your flags point to nowhere and have the tag of "Japense"

Your site looks good to me, actually i liked logo most. But the ad in the bottom, i don't appreciate it. I think, you should have a bottom navigation too. Even, your website is not completed yet.
Please complete it, then it would be useful to include it in the review section. Then, only you can gain more ideas.

The top 300 pixels are great...except that the banner that says "You Design we XHTML" looks like exactly that, a banner ad... thats part of your site isn't it? Horizontal nav could use some hover effects.
Then you get to your main content container and you have a rounded edge graphic start the container (the background image of div class "contentads")...i'm not sure if its intended to NOT have a repeating background to connect to it on div class "innermain" but it definitely looks weird without it. And the adspace looks mega spammy, like jenga on the right side.

First thoughts were it was "ok" but too many ads (as you have admitted). I personally would remove the google in the centre column, so you just have two columns.
Your banner at the top "You Design we XHTML" I have to admit that I didn't even notice it until reading ScubaSteve's review, and agree with him that it just looks like an advertising banner. If that is your slogan then perhaps it could be blended into your site more.
I would also blend the google ads along the top by removing the border. I too think the container would be better with a repeating image continuing the lines down.

looks like you are trying to go up against gizmodo, engadget, and crunch gear. the site looks pretty good but maybe you can move some of the ads and stretch the post width so you can add more then 4 post per page. i also would like to see page numbers to know where i left off

This theme is much better than the theme of your other site you have put up for review, still need some more work done. First of all complete the content box as suggested by Scuba Steve. Also, get rid the header image You design we xhtml, this will reduce the size of the head area, bringing the content above.

I agree with ^
However, the Nokia part???? Talking about the IPHone then a nice nokia logo... I dunno...
It's got some nice colours, but just too heavy on the adverts...
Your'e actually reducing your Chance of making money with google..
And the links that link to nothing are a waste of time....

I enjoy the little alien guy. I think that he is a GREAT start to a logo, however it goes south from there. I am simply offering a humble opinion and I do not mean to enrage anyone, but your tag line......you design, we xhtml I think either you should drop that slogan or work on your xhtml. According to the W3C cats, you have 43 errors that prevent your site from becoming valid xhtml. As well, why do you have so many ads on this page? I mean there are alot of them. I would drop 7/8 of them and focus more on content.
I can link you the results to the W3C validation if you would like Hope this helps, look forward to seeing more

I never really did blogs, so I don't know if you can like completely customize everything, but is there a way you could get that search bar into the header with the links? It looks like it fell out of that menu bar (as it has the same background color) it looks very out of place.
I would also take the "You design we XHTML" ad or whatever it is, and put it under the links
That would move the content of the header to the top, and clean things up a bit.
Other than that, I think the design is great.
