Review: OutRentHome.com

Hello,

Please let me know if you like this website at your first look. I would also appreciate some recommendation on the best meta-description and keywords in order to make it more google-friedly.

Supposedly started as a gay community for people who wanted to find gay-owned apartments or tenants/roommates, it seems that everyone would use it anyway. For this reason, I took any allusion of only-gay audience away and made it look more customer-neutral.

I released this website on January 15 2008 and as you can see it is already up and running and I see people registering everyday.

Thanks!

I like the top half of the home page but feel the columns look too squashed on the lower part. Maybe add some padding to them.

The rest of the pages look fantastic. Did you use any frames for this?

I like the soft colors a lot, but I agree that the bottom columns are way too squished. Other than that I think it's definitely really good. (not sure but the links at the top could maybe be bolded or something)

Cool, I really need to find an idea for the columns in the bottom. What do yuou really mean with a padding? Can you give me some examples?

It's like

|DATA| has no padding while | DATA | does, (it's the spacing between a table cell's content and the edge of the cell.

you can add padding in the <table> tag (<table cellpadding="3">) will add a padding of 3

I agree with the padding issue, it does look like the type is squished together down below. I was originally confused with the color scheme. I felt a little to eastery if that makes sense. I understand now that your target audience was originally the Homosexual audience, so the colors fit..but if you are going to try to appeal to everyone...maybe less pastels? Unless of course Pastels are the current trend now..i tend to get lost in current popular colors.
I do enjoy your images for your background and your images for your buttons..Those are pretty fresh.
Overall good job..
