One thing, I notice immediately is your banners in left side bar are not central. Otherwise you might want to improve some color schemes in your site as currently too much gray.

Hey there,

Like the logo the buddy is creative. I don't like how 'web resource community' is large and slanted. This detracts from your logo.

Make the font smaller and put it under or near the logo.

You need more content on the front page because the sidebar is longer then your content. All those banners aren't needed there place some real content there.

The navigation bars are great and everything is organized well (I can find what I want quickly)

thanks for the help i just replaced a lot of the old text that was on the homepage to make it more attractive. ill get on the banners soon and im trying to get the main sites navigation to work on the forum and the directory but it is turning out to be such a hassle.

Add keywords in your alt attribute for the image link. for example instead of using ComputerBuddy Forums, use the text you have in the image. Also, put up a favicon image.

omg the blog has been one of the hardest parts about the whole site. i can't get blogger, wordpress, buzz watever its called or anything else to work. i have tried to integrate my own script into the site like it is here at v7n and that wont work and i can barley get a feed working.

Hey if you can help me in any way on how to get this blog thing to work out i will greatly appreciate it.

you don't have to setup a subdomain for it, use domain/blog or whatever name you think is best. what are your problems on setting the blog? what blog software you are trying to use?

ok well im trying to use wordpress and get it working like it works here on V7N.

If you use a subdomain for the blog they can give you a special code that updates the blog right on the content of your site. thats what some people have told me.

i like your header. i would probably move the bookmark widget to the right side of the page. the buttons are a bit big for my taste, but they certain catch your attention which i suppose is the point.

well im really looking to make the hompage as likable as possible becasue it serves as the intro to well EVERYTHING.

the buttons will be upgraded to look Fresher but its to just get the idea out.

this doesn't have so much to do with your design, but i think 4.99/month for a link on a pr1 site is a little steep. but if you can get people to pay it...way to go! fyi, most people looking to buy links won't do it if the site openly advertises that the links are for sale...cause google doesn't like that. so you might try some covert advertising on forums.
