foreveryoungvegas website looks mid-level amatuerish.
the over all idea of layout seem like a nice idea, but then a few things draw your eye that the site has an amatuer quality.
1. the Forever Young Health logo in top left. it just doesnt look like the quaility logo that a rea lhigh class spa would be using. (maybe hire a logo designer that will do one in color, and with optimized vector graphics? )
2. the rollover navigation at the top - Home, Services, etc
All those tabs are different sizes. notice size difference between Contact Us and Search. That makes anyone thats seen enough sites or made them say = "ohhh" It says = "webdesigner with 2 to 4 years ezperience!"
Solution: Look at high end sites ,and mimick their navigation. trying to be creative with things like that doesnt always work, people expect a certain feel to the navigation on high end sites.
3. Your roll javascript rollover pictures are ok, but they look 1990's-ish
the light up when rolled over was big i nmid to late 1990's.
Now everything is on shiny, and reflections. see some high-end corporate and other sites like apple, etc ..
It's so easy to do and keeps your site right up with the 'times'
Your site is going to be based on aesthetics to give that serene relaxed feel . maybe a lot of white and some faded in palm tree island , ocean front etc ?
In my opinion I would just re-do the theme , the picture navigation.
Use CSS style sheets t omake your navigation text smaller and light up different color when rolled over.
It doesnt seem youre using much CSS styles, because that white box on the right side, could have a border on it , dotted or solid.
There just seems to be a lot you could do with that site to better it i na short time, a day or two with higher-end reflections and 'white fade-in' images, some relaxation theme of light sky blue ocean and green plams fading into white where your different categories would be selected. etc.
spend a day or two reading about CSS Style sheets on a good site like:
http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp
check out reflection and hite fade in technique on images at
www.apple.com (notice the faint reflection underneath objects in images)
Photoshop copy layer, flip vertical, put it underneath the original image layer, then cut it off about 1/3 left of the picture..and use gradient tool white 100% to fade it in. ..makes a that kind of reflection.
and a thing seems to be these days in the new style, = never use words in images ..just overlay the CSS text onto the images - unless you absolutely have to ..like if you need that fancy font. Otherwise , always go with easy to read CSS
The rest of the site seems to be OK with that warm sand brown color. I just dont think the home page does the rest of the site justice. and the header of the navigation - that part I would start over, make a new CSS navigation in a couple hours time.
