Please review my site Slangbo.com. Here are the basics of the site:

Slangbo.com holds daily and monthly sweepstakes. All users have to do is go online and submit their e-mail address once a day. If they win, they are contacted the following day. They then have to fill out a little form with their information on it so we can ship the prize. Their information, of course, is kept private.

Slangbo.com also holds "Weekly Ten," which is a directory of the web's best websites divided up by category. This is updated weekly (we will start writting reviews for the top 3 of each category).

We also recently added our own affiates program. It is in its beta mode.

In addition to these features, we just added a forum. Put the link on the site yesterday.

I really don't see the use of this site. All it does is list popular sites like facebook? What are you going to use with the email addresses?

We give away free prizes. By entering your e-mail address you enter the contests.

I think you need to be a bit more extensive in the about section. People usually don't want to give private information away.

As for the design . . .I think an overhaul is in order. The design doesn't look modern and needs to be fresh and clean. A logo would also be a nice touch.

First impression was: oh god a parked site. Didn't hold my attention after looking around the first page. It gave me no reason to look future. I still don't know what it is.

You really need something to hold their attention. If people have to look around to figure what you're about, they won't stay. It's to easy to click "back" than read your site. What your about need to catch their attention right off the bat.

For me, the header looks a little bit striking. Darker yellow might looks better. Blue might give more connection between header and the rest of the body.

I like the design. It's bright and modern, but perhaps doesn't reflect the prize nature of your site. There's no pictures of prizes or winners etc. That might help to generate some excitement?

I'd also like to see some example prizes, as people tend to be very suspicious about free things.
