I just did my first ever 100% custom Wordpress design. Please let me know what you think. I am pretty happy, it has some room for improvement. I don't care if it is Positive or negative, any feedback is good feedback!

Not too much I can say bad about it. I like how you give it the 3-D effect. It caught my eye right off the bat. The header at first made me go "ugh" but it grew on me. Now I think it works with it.

Being partial color blind, the yellow on white is hard for me to see. The lime green is next to impossible.

It's a nice theme though I'm not really a fan of yellow color. The theme is spacious and not crowded with so many things. I just finished read your latest post and end up subscribing to your blog.

Sorry but i beg to disagree...

No reason to argue but it's not the way i see it...

Didn't like the layout. The graphics of different sizes and location quite hurt the eye.

Though I could say it's not bad. But you can improve more on it. Try testing other color combination, and change your font. work on your navigation bar for easy access.

I like the overall design of theme.

The site name in banner can be worked on a bit. The pictures of posts looks good and the site looks uncluttered.

Hi Chris,

I like the theme, it suits your content and it's easy to navigate.

I only have one suggestion. With quite a heavy degree of text content I would adjust your line spacing, paragraph spacing and kerning (space between your letters) to add whitespace to your page.

Not only will it be much easier to read, it will also add a great deal to the overall appeal of your site content.

The layout is too simple and the color combination is not so good, but still the content is relevant and interesting, and easy to navigate.

Thanks for all the comments. Like I said, this is my first ever wordpress design. It is a work in progress. I have taken notes on what you all say and will make some adjustments.

Also, about the header, I am going to be holding a $100 and free Twitter tshirt contest for a new header design in a few weeks. This was planned that is why the header is so basic right now.

I just got to the footer and I really that. To be honest there isn't a lot that I can suggest, but I feel that your site is good, but not quite great. It's a little boxy, and lacks anything to really set it apart from all the other blogs out there. Hopefully your header contest will give you a really unique, striking header design to help you brand yourself.

I would personally get rid of the border for your content div and just have a white background, this might free up your layout a little.
