i really like your site. well, i has hoping it's like purevolume or something.
maybe you could add up a link where visitors can listen to this unsigned bands. or just didn't find it where it is.

Thanks That's a good idea, I'll definitely consider adding a page to stream mp3s with bands permission. Perhaps a rating system for the tracks too.

Very nice site overall. I had no problem figuring out what the site was about when the page opened, nor any problems navigating to find things. Very clear. Very nice. The colors blended nicely and didn't give me any retina burn whatsoever. I assume that's a WordPress blog application you're using or some such equivalent?

I assume the buttons on the "Band Archives" screen (All Posts, Videos, Interviews, Live) are not yet functional - they didn't do anything when I clicked them.

A small thing, but your page looks low on the screen. The logo takes up a lot of vertical space but not a lot of horizontal space. What you have at the very top is some underutilized prime real estate. Note that I'm viewing at 1024 X 768. Still, that space to the left and right of your logo could get better utilized. Maybe you have plans to do so?

And, not that this has anything to do with your web design, but how will you distinguish the "crap" bands from the "great" bands (as mentioned on your "About Us" page)? Is the unsigned site functioning as a sort of record label that reviews acts and determines if they belong in one of those categories? That's one way to start up a label.

If I was still in a band, I'd sign up.

Ewomack: I agree that the header is quite large, but I do think that it helps to set us apart somewhat. I will consider putting it to better use though, perhaps adding a search form or something.

I liked the header graphics and the general design.
The page deffo needs some streaming content - id googled that female duo - and they actually sound quite good too.
But a word of advice - dont have the music playing when the page loads - that is horrible.

Dare I say the pun? Your site ROCKS!
Overall I found the site to load quickly ( i have highspeed though)
and thru my widescreen monitor it looks very good.
I think your header and footer are great for your site. Don't change it.
Doesn't appear to be too busy or too cluttered.
The only thing I think I would try to change is ( if you even really care to, depends on your standing) is the valid mark up. You are already using a tableless design, and the errors that W3c spit our are quite minor...y not take it to the next level. But again I say depending on your standing, some people round these parts don't really care about valid mark up, and if you don't then I think your site is rockin as is.
