I have hand coded the backend of this site myself in PHP. It works with amazon's XML API to pull all of their mp3 songs and albums. This site has some HUGE potential and I know it will take off in the right hands. I was going to keep this site for myself, but I don't have the time to promote it right now, so if you have some time to market this thing, my loss is your gain.
Lets get to the good stuff -
SEO
- Custom search engine friendly URLs on all pages (including dynamic search pages) thanks to .htaccess
- On page SEO for good rankings
- www gets redirected to no-www
- Great domain, I planned to try and rank for 'mp3 music downloads'
- If the winning bidder wishes, I am willing to create a script that will create a sitemap for the site as well if you don't have your own sitemap solution already
Revenue
There is so much potential revenue here I don't think I need to go into too much detail, but
- Every album or song links to amazon with your affiliate ID!!
- Sidebar in all search pages for skyscrapers
- Link space in footer of all pages (index, searchs, albums, songs)
This site has taken over a week to code, implement into the design, and perfect all of the little things the way I wanted (seo etc). With some traffic, this site will be bringing in A LOT of revenue for the new owner :cool:
