Traffic comes mostly from invites on facebook. Each app has an invite tab where users can invite their friends. This is where the traffic is coming from. There may also be a small amount coming from the website.
Revenue:
I currently use SocialMedia for ads but they really don't seam to pay very well. The ads all need to be in iFrame. You can signup for SocialMedia.com or Cubics.com and use their ads. Otherwise if you own sponsor has an iframe code you can use that. You will see my clicks are high but my revenue is very low. I do not know why social media is paying an average of $0.01/click but it is rediculous.

If you have never ran a facebook app before that is okay. I am always around and am more than happy to help answer questions you may have, help promote. Pretty much whatever you need until you get the facebook developer system down. It is actually very simple.
